Credit Terms Policy
All first time customers are terms prepaid. If customer requests credit terms, they will be required to complete a credit application; which will be reviewed and determined within 4 – 6 weeks from date of submission. If credit is established, customer is expected to pay within terms; any past due account will lose terms. The cost of any collection or legal fees is responsibility of the delinquent account.
Shipping and Delivery
All prices on orders are FOB Miami/Ex Works. Delivery of orders are subject to a delivery fee depending on volume and destination (see delivery chart). We use an established local carrier for deliveries to give a better in-land freight fee; however, for small parcel orders we will use Fedex or UPS or any other courier of your choice provided customer supplies the Shipper Account Number. Freight charges will be applied on the invoice, unless shipper account number is supplied.
Warehouse Packaging
All merchandise will be palletized and shrink wrapped on regular pallets unless otherwise requested. Fees are applied for special packaging, ie, coolers, ups 84 boxes, e-containers, e-h containers and USDA pallets.
Claims
Our responsibility ceases once our carrier delivers shipment to the freight forwarder from our facility. Please make sure that shipments are checked for damages/shortages immediately and if any discrepancy note it on the Bill of Lading upon delivery. All claims must be filed with the trucking company delivering your order, whether it is our carrier, Fed Ex, UPS or the like. In any case, it is crucial that you contact us immediately. We only guarantee 4 months – 6 months for claims due to short or expired merchandise we need pictures upon submitting your claim. Credit for damages during overseas transit are not accepted. A credit claim form must be completed and submitted with 14 days of receipt for review. Credit deductions are only allowed with prior authorization.
Export Documents
Export Certificates, i.e. Certificates of Free Sale, Meat and Poultry, Seafood, etc. must be requested prior to submission of order to ensure proper coordination. Additional fees will apply accordingly.
